History
A company on course to success
Our company was founded in 1987 by Maria Merschbrock-Wiese and Rainer Wiese. Since then we have grown steadily, and today Merschbrock-Wiese is one of Germany’s leading manufacturers of household spices. From our headquarter in Rietberg in Westphalia, we supply customers throughout Europe with a wide variety of spices, herbs, mixes, dried soups, instant stock, sauces and instant foods.
A qualified team, top quality and ongoing product innovation are the basis of our continued success. In order to be prepared to meet future challenges, we constantly invest in the expansion and upgrading of our production and logistics facilities.
We market our high-quality products under our own brands, as private label for customers in food retail and food service, and as raw materials for further processing in the food industry. In recognition of our entrepreneurial achievements, the “Oskar-Patzelt Foundation” awarded Merschbrock-Wiese the “Grand Prize of Medium-Size Business.” From among 2,500 nominees from throughout Germany, we took first place in North Rhine-Westphalia.
